Who we are
This website, peopleinmotion.com, is run by People in Motion ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal information described here. For anything about your data, email move@peopleinmotion.com.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you write.
The website has no accounts, no mailing-list sign-up, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools. Our fonts, films, audio and downloads are served from our own domain, so browsing the site does not send your details to Google or other third parties.
Like every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) in server logs, to keep the site secure and working.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your message and contact details only to read and reply to you. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to someone who has contacted us.
Server logs are used only for security and to keep the site running, again on the basis of legitimate interests.
We never sell your information or use it for marketing without asking you first.
Who we share it with
Our website is hosted by Hostinger, and messages reach us through our email provider. Both process data only on our behalf, under data processing terms. We share information with nobody else unless the law requires it.
Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, it is protected by approved safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for up to 12 months after our last exchange with you, then delete them, unless we need them longer to deal with a legal matter. Hosting logs are kept for a short, limited period set by our host.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. Email move@peopleinmotion.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Links to other sites
Our footer links to YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and nothing is loaded from them until you choose to visit.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date above.
